Re: New Cutting Boards
Thanks for the nice words everyone.
wood_fly...I bought little rubber feet off Amazon that has a little metal washer for the hole and comes with the little screw. They work great.

Re: New Cutting Boards
They are nice, but I could never let something out of my shop with tool marks showing. I usually spend twice as long sanding and finishing a piece as I do cutting and assembling it.

Re: New Cutting Boards
Not for sale…these were gifts for friends but there are no tool marks. Must be the photo. The wood is sanded to 800 grit and then epoxied area to 1400 grit.

Re: New Cutting Boards
Those surfacing lines that show up on all those boards. I understand, as end grain is hard to sand and can take an hour of hard sanding with 80-120-240 grid RA sanders to remove. But finishing is what takes a project from good to great.scotttarnor wrote: ↑Mon Aug 23, 2021 2:20 amWhat are you referring to?rscrawford wrote: ↑Sun Aug 22, 2021 10:37 pmThey are nice, but I could never let something out of my shop with tool marks showing.
