All finished

Post by Smugwood »

Really wanted to 3D carve the neck but I got a little stuck with how to do it and had a lack of tooling. But the body, neck and fret board all machined using Aspire. The guitar is based on Rick Parfitt's guitar from Status Quo and it plays really well surprising..

I just modeled one using Aspire and using Aspire's clipart, based from a diagram I got form Popular Mechanics. But afterwards I realized I better get the electric guitar parts before I do the cutouts to make sure all will fit. Where did you get yours? Did you have a pattern for the cutouts? Thanks
