Celtic Spoon

I made this spoon half scale. it's about 9" long. Wood is maple with cherry stain, 3 coats of polyurethane.

Great project. I made one of these for my mom. She didn't know she was a "spoon hanging" type lady or that it would go in her kitchen...but her baby boy (of 54 years) made it so I'll hang it up. Got lots of compliments...now wants more!

So yes, this is a good project, but watch out for follow-up! <g>
