Multi-wood Red Rose Zank Inlay

Morning Everyone...

I've been testing my Zank Inlay capabilities and after being successful with the 3 species inlay to make the "Kissy Lips" (photo 1) a few weeks ago, I decided to stretch myself and go for a 5 species Red Rose (photo 2).

I'm very, very happy with the end results and the very tight fits. I inlayed Purpleheart, Cherry, Dark Walnut, and Light Walnut into a Maple board. The board and all inlays are end grain construction.

Happy, happy camper. :D

Beautiful job on the end grain cutting board. I would totally agree that
You have the Zank Inlay down. Your pictures are always nice too.
