Gentlemans Valet Box - my version

A colleague I have worked with for 17 years retired from the company, As he is an avid boat guy I decided to do the Gentleman’s Valet Box for him. To make the box more personal I added his name to the front of the box and engraved a small text inside the box.
The wood I used was teak and for the lid I used ash, for the inlay I used pine.
On the bottom I engraved a text from me why I did the box:
This Genleman’s Valet Box was created by me in May 2020 on my CNC-machine as a thank you for all the things that you taught med at the years on XXXXXX
The text on the inside is from a quote of James Taylor:
Being on a boat that's moving through the water, it's so clear. Everything falls into place in terms of what's important and what's not.
As you can imagine, the gift was a great success.
