Twisted Circles

Post by rlp17820 »

I came across a topic (May 2015) that inspired me to create and machine a twisted square, pentagon and hexagon. The twisted circles were created in Blender and then imported to Aspire as a two-sided job.

The boundary offset of the finish toolpaths and the limit planes on both sides were adjusted to minimize or eliminate any undercut areas. This left me with very little hand sanding as a result.

Each twisted circle is approximately 7/8 inch thick.

The topic that inspired me was http://forum.vectric.com/viewtopic.php? ... e+triangle

Thanks for the compliments.

Scott, yes they are nice to handle and simpler than a fidget spinner.
