Playhouse Steering Wheel

Post by JimmyD »

Getting around to a lot of those things that get put off. This is a steering wheel for my twin 4 year old grandkids playhouse. I think they'll like it. 15" x 1.75", MDF layered with Baltic Birch plywood. Metal sleeve epoxied in for longevity when turning on mounting bolt.

Well, since you're being nosey.....😁
It's exactly what you called it, a big ball of numbers. I'm making several displays for a CPA firm. When finished, that big ball of numbers is being cast inside a clear epoxy resin sphere, 10" in diameter. Will be on a walnut stand with their logo on it.
Here's a picture of the silicone mould I made to do that.

Thank you all for the comments regarding the painting. I thought that was the easiest part.

Yes, I'll share the number ball when it's done. It's going to be a while.
