Absolutely beautiful carving. I'd love to do that on a stained glass window in a small church in Port Wentworth, Georgia. Scott had to bring up getting married and reminded me that my first was at a small church in Maine. I don't recall looking at stained glass windows or woodwork. Rather, I think I was in a stupor wondering what I was doing. That marriage didn't last long and I am happy to say that folks who work in the job of the guy who lured that wife away always get a big hug and thank you from me. Life goes on..

I got curious and looked the church up. Here's a link and you can see why scott55 was distracted looking at the ceiling woodwork during his wedding there. Other pictures show a beautiful church campus. BTW, love you last couple of pictures of your carving and noticed how the wood frame and base very much complement it. https://www.stannskennebunkport.org/

Beautiful work. I'll have to get to that church someday.

Thanks again everybody, really kind comments.

Brian, after many years I recently got a new iPad, the iPad Air. A year or two ago Apple also came out with the Apple pencil that works with some iPads, so I got one also. The app I use is AutoCAD Sketchbook. I had that app on the old iPad, but wow the improvements are phenomenal with the new version when added to the pencil. Takes tracing to a whole new level. So nice not to deal with the blobs and floaters in Aspire that you get when converting a photo bitmap. A clean black and white is always the best for that.
thanks, Bill for the explanation.
regards,
Brian.
