My version of the Jade Ebony Box by Michael

Post by Bob Reda »

Actually it turned into a chest of heart cut outs with sayings engraved on them, 365 to be exact. Ended up buying a Chinese laser to do that part. It was a great project Michael, didn't have to do too much thinking with the files you provided and it wasn't really hard to increase the size of everything, Thank you.

Nice job. I'll bet it was difficult to find a bucket large enough for the "dip"

BEAUTIFUL piece Bob!!! :)

LIKE the idea of sayings filling the box too!
Could be a good "thought for the Day" if it was me :)

Really fine looking!
Congrats!

Thanks everyone. Steve, it was kinda big for a 5 gallon bucket, couldn't actually move it around. I did the greens in the bucket and for the white, I took small glasses of water with the whit paint and worked it above the bucket, by moving the part and pouring the water over it. A little messy, but it worked
