Poplar is downright nasty, makes construction lumber look easy.

The roughing was only about 10 minutes since I limited it to where the finishing bit would be entering and exiting the material. The depth of the model was 0.46".

I use poplar for the same reasons, and I haven't had any real problems like I have seen others post on here. I must be lucky. Horses look great to me. Thanks for posting them.
