Malteese Cross Clock

Post by ksmith1961 »

Finally freed up my CNC long enough to make the piece that inspired me to buy it in the first place. I have made about 10 of these. The first 9 were made using only a bandsaw and jigsaw. One day to cut them out and six days of hand rasping and sanding just to get them ready for finish. Designed it in Aspire and cut out on my CNC and in less than a day it was ready for finish. This one was presented as a retirement gift for the Asst. Chief of a neighboring department.

Very Nice. Should be very well received. Really like the graphics around the edges Are those hand painted or decals?
Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful clock. Personalized inserts really make it special.

The graphics around the edges are 3D scrapbook pieces. Sadly they have been discontinued so after I use the ones I have left, I'll have to design something else.

That is indeed the West Siloam Springs FD. I was also a member of that department for over 10 years and have worked for the Siloam Springs FD for almost 20.

His first name is Cody. He's been there a little over a year now.
