Cherry Bar/Kitchen Stools from Crawford Plans

I have completed a set of four Cherry Bar/Kitchen Stools for a client from the Russell Crawford Plans. As with the rocker plans Russell sells, the kitchen stool plans are on the mark as are the detailed instructional documentation.

Russell warned me there is a lot of sanding. He is a man of his word. All components were machined on my LC4896 CNC router. I joined the seat blanks and footrest stretchers with Festool 8x50 dominos and used the Festool sanders to finish.

The finish is four coats of poly/oil and four coats of oil/wax.

Those look great. I wish my CNC was just a little bit bigger so that I could do these stools too. I can do the 18" stools, but the 24" stools are just a little too big for my 24" shark.

They look sharp. Were they very difficult to make?.

Brian,
The stools were a lot of work, setup, clamping, two-sided machining then more sanding and finishing than I like to do.

They did tun out ok.
