Carved "retro " sign

This one is for a "muscle car" themed patio at a restaurant about 25 miles from here.
Corafoam 15, acrylics & some leaded 1-Shot . Caplain Gold leaf , 19karat, with palladium instead of silver in the alloy
Since this is going on a billboard & some large site signs, the pictorial is a digital print. Thanks to Debb Bates from Fredericton for painting the awesome 69 Charger.
I still need to put another layer of gold on the big "j", & touch up some holidays

If you don't mind me asking?
Are the 3d components applique? including the smaller text? In pocket? surface mounted or just machined on blank?
The texture sure adds a nice touch...
Even the shadow looks thicker than the blanks border....... great effect!

Wow, that is a really cool sign, is the texture behind the letters just lines carved with a v-bit. What paint did you use for the chrome-letters?

Glenn .. the stars, the J, & the frame around the charger are appliques. Everything else is just;left from the pocket toolpath...

Crister .... you're almost correct. It's done with a .125" tapered ballnose with a 99% stepover. 1st path at 45*angle, then another toolpath the same depth at -45*. And, that's not paint ... it's 19 karat caplan gold
