For the Wife

My wife loves clothes and normally asks for Gift Cards and tells me which stores she likes. This year she wants new boots and a winter coat but she has no idea which stores. Well I certainly wasn't going to guess at which stores or maybe even worse...get the wrong store.

So I decided to get models of a boot and a winter coat and slide several $100 bills into each. Then she'll haul me off shopping with her. :(

I used the outline vectors to cut pieces of 1/4" plywood for a backing and a spacer so as to leave a hollow opening where I could slide the bills into.

I know she'll love them both and the $$$$ too :D

My husband was never that generous.
I was lucky to get a present at all.
I envy your wife.

Very cool idea Mitch! Now you have me thinking of Christmas ornaments with hinges to hide a little surprise!

Thanks everyone! Was simple but fun to make. She'll get a real charge out of the models.
