I never heard back from the guy so we can only presume that he doesn't know who the copyright owner is or he is not willing to tell us

Wolffie, Turns out the guy that runs our second machine bought the same file from the same guy in July! (he likes 3D much more than me)
You'd think somebody would have made him yank it from E-bay by now--James B doesn't know, likewise this forum and Shopbots.
I haven't found it anywhere else, and have been searching on and off.
Think we're safe until someone mentions it, and then we'll buy from him in good faith(if he can prove provenance)

STILL my favorite file to Putz with because of the detail in the bark

a couple of years ago I think on cnczone there was a guy posting renderings like the yellow 164.png ( yellow). He was in either russia or the uk , don't remember.

I can not find out where the original image came from, all leads came to a end with no information.
