Here's a better example,,hopefully...
1. create the two rail sweep
2. use a boundary vector for the rough and finish cutting
3. Use the boundary vector for a profile cut.

You did use the machining toolpaths. That was the only way I could think of doing something like that. The parts looked really smooth on your photos and I assumed you were able to cut the cove part using profile toolpath only. Thank you for taking time to explain.
