Very nice projects. Am also a new user of cnc (homemade machine) and vcarve 7 how do yuou do the lettering in plexy.
have been trying to vcarve it at various speeds on router even a slowest speed still leaves some melted pieces in the letters?

I have no melting issues at all with plexi because I use a diamond drag bit. Since it operates at 0 RPM, friction and therefore melting is eliminated.
With a v bit these issues can usually be controlled using high feed rates & low RPM's ,, But a drag bit is IMO far superior for etching in all aspects, so I haven't used v bits in quite some time.
