Michael,
I am shaking my head again, in disbelief! :D Even the steam is sheer art! Your friend must have been ecstatic.

Thanks for the offer, but it’s not my design to give away.
I would need to check with Indre,,the artist,, on this.

Hi Chris,

I have heard great things about the Luminore metal finishes, but I cannot find where/how to obtain the stuff to try for myself. Can you shed any light on this? Thanks in advance.

Luminore was very protective over who could use their products and recently they even stopped selling it directly ( i think). They were having too many warranty issues with people applying it incorrectly. I had to purchase a large quantity up front and go through training in order to be able to apply it. Now you can get it through some distributors (colt industries) but i think you still have to have training certification. I think the company is trying to move towards application and large operations as opposed to selling to applicators. It does everything the Luminore site says but it is a very tricky finish. I was typically dealing with a 20-30 minute pot life- a stressful situation with product that is about $600/ gallon. My favorite project I did was the King Neptune door referenced in other posts on this site. These guys are the real luminore pros: http://www.afxstudios.com/luminore/ pm me with any questions.
