Bomber & Growler Totes

Post by NSchlee »

Just what every craft beer lover needs!
Designed in Aspire and CNC'd from .5" Baltic Birch, laser engraved.
Easy to carry, use for empty storage and keeps them from rolling around in the car.
We also do a Bomber 4-Pack.

Looks great!

I'm curious about the assembly. In the photo, the upright panel does not appear to extend below the base panel. How is the base secured to the vertical panel?

This is nice. My neighbor across the street brews and bottles his own and this would be something neat for him.

As for how is the bottom attached, it almost looks like insert tab A into Slot B and held in with glue.

Rick,

The vertical pc. has a tab that fits into a .25" deep Dado on the bottom pc.
We thought just gluing wood be sufficient but a full Growler is around 10 pounds so we run 2 screws up from the bottom along with glue to be sure they stay together.

Wolffie,

What's got you confused???

I'm not try to sell products to YOU. I'm just trying to give other members ideas for products to utilize the software, help keep there equipment running and maybe but some beans on the dinner table.

Thanks Neal
That's what got me confused.
I have no idea what "Bombers and Growlers" are, thought you were selling bottles
Sorry :(
I love the concept.
Can be used for almost any kind of bottles.

Wolffie,

No problem, the post does kinda start off sounding like a sales pitch, sorry for the confusion.

Growlers are the large bottle on the left. Micro Breweries use them to sell their product at a bar for take-away. You can wash them out and bring them back for refills.
Bombers are the 22 oz bottles of fancy micro-brewed beer you sometimes find on the beer isle of grocery stores for outrageous amounts of money.

Nice projects, well planned out.

Thank you Tim
We cannot refill beer bottles here but gallon bottles are used to be brought back to wineries to be refilled.
Have a couple of friends who brew their own, Growlers would be a fun gift for them :)
