Celtic rope and basket weave on a Paradise box for Vicki

My mistake, the file in the Downloads Folder on my website is for a coat rack with this basket weave. This would be a 72" wide version.

By request, I have converted the original basket weave Aspire .crv3d file to Vcarve Pro .crv file using the latest Aspire 11.505 software that I upgraded to today. We will soon see if BigDude can use it with Vcarve Pro.

My appologies for not posting here for well over a year. Life has been very busy for me.

Note: My www.carveonecncwoodcraft.com website has been disabled early this year. I saved all of the files that was on it before doing that. Not planning to create a new website anytime soon.

The rope circle will also be posted as soon as I can find it.

I finally found the Celtic Rope Aspire file on the old computer and converted it to the Vcarve Pro .crv file format. If you need these files in a .crvt template version I can do that, but I have never used that version myself. Not sure what it is for.

It is an elliptical shape.

Wow! Awesome Designs!

Used the 3 Rib Basket weave vectors in my modeling software to create a model panel 6.5" by 12.0" (Reference below)

Then imported it into V-Carve Pro Version 11.505 added Toolpaths with results below

Just Imagine all the different profiles that can be created using this methodology!

I now can now add a design like this to the Reverse Engineered Antique Rocker/High Chair - Seat I had created several years back to give it a cane weave look. (Reference V-Carve Gallery)
