Submarine cheese and cribbage boards

Post by flankbell »

Black walnut cheese board finish with mineral oil.
Parts were all cut separately on machine and then assembled. Still required a lot of hand sanding!
Customer did not want a rudder on the cheese board.
Cheese knife/spreader inserts into sail.

Cribbage board still needs to be sanded and finished with Minwax stain and then some poly. Customer wanted a rudder on this one.

Had to get a bit creative with the clamping, although there are two countersunk screws up from the bottom. Both boards have a neoprene sheet protecting the bottom, so it doesn't mar the table.

I am not much on the cribbage game, but that cribbage sub looks amazing!
I love the cheese board - looks amazing.
Congrats!
