Finish Address Plaque

Post by 01f4irider »

Here is the address plaque I was working on all finished up. I learned a lot while making this one. As I mentioned in my last post, this was my first time using the moulding toolpath, and it came out great imho. This was also my first time using spar urethane as a finish coat. I don't like the time in-between coats (4hours), but I love the decrease in VOC's when using this as opposed to lacquer. One last first. I bought a spray gun called 'The Critter' to apply the finish. This thing is amazing, especially for the money (less than $40). Every maker should have one.

Very nice work indeed - looks like you got the molding tool path down.
