Something I cut a year and a half ago and just got around to finishing it.

MDF finished with Rust-Oleum hammered silver, then filled with gel stain.

May I ask, what do you mean "filled with gel stain"? I can't tell from the picture what the carving consists of. Is it vcarved or a 3D model carved. But from my experience with any depression, gel stain would not sit well. Perhaps a little more detail on the carve and finish?
