At the SC meeting you showed a small trick on how to get a line to match up with either end.
Something like "control Y" comes to mind. Could you , would you, post how that is accomplished. It is one of a few things I failed to write down.

Hi Mike,

I hope you don't mind me jumping in here.

Select the node you want as the anchor node first. Then select the others.

To have them share the same X value (be a vertical line), press x on the keyboard.

To have them share the same Y value (horizontal line), press y on the keyboard.

Very cool! Editing more than a few nodes individually is such a pain! I know a few keyboard shortcuts taught in the tutorials, but it seems like there are a ton I don't know about. Is there a list somewhere that has a comprehensive guide to the keyboard shortcuts? would help out a ton on the learning curve.

The time stamp is US East coast time, same as you. My days start very early, no phones or employees.
It's my time to plan ahead.

I've seen this page before, however it does not give the complete list of shortcuts. The x and y shortcuts explained in this post are not listed on that page, nor is the shortcut for creating a mirrored copy around the vertical centerline, which is explained in the tutorials. I don't see those shortcuts listed anywhere.

the x and y node editing shortcut will be making my life a lot easier already, and I wouldl ove to know what else Aspire is capable of.

The section in the help file on node editing explains the X and Y alignment shortcuts. It also tells of the L shortcut, which I'll let you find on your own. Not being mean, its just that node editing is perhaps one of the most powerful design/editing features of Aspire/VCP and this help section is well worth the time to read it once or twice.

Thanks for being more specific, I was looking at the keyboard shortcuts area of the help section and not the actual node editing portion of the help file.
