for first it looks great.. just keep going.... what you learn yourself that worth the most...

the toolpath can be estimated with the program... look at for a clock symbol...

Joe, assume that the laser scanner uses a laser light that is controlled by a device that travels like a typewriter; left to right, drop down, left to right, drop down... How is the device controlled?

In this David laser scanner system laser is hand held. You move it by your hand and laser makes a line, not a dot.

Look on the 1st page of this thread and you will see my laser line od rotated from top to bottom in a sweeping fashion and controlled with a stepper motor and is gearing down with a worm gear, right now it is about a 96:1 reduction to get a slow speed.

Here is a quick video i did when 1st testing it.

tadasi, please let me know if you needthis file... already i can save in aspire format..
it is3mb and i can send in mail only... in raw format still over 1 meg and the forum don't accept larger file like 1 meg..
