At 77 I probably will never make from “inexperienced” to even “novice” but I am having fun!

You'll do all right George. I have the advantage of starting playing with CNCs and the software more than 15 year ago. Then getting considerable practice helping my college furniture design students with their designs until I retired a couple years back.
Just keep playing. BTW the folks here nearly always can help. There are often several ways to create things using Aspire.

Thanks for all the inputs to my request for help. I haven’t been on the forum (or even in the shop that much) for a long time. A great bunch of folks with tons more experience than I. At 77 I probably will never make from “inexperienced” to even “novice” but I am having fun!
George
Don't bet on it. You could be around a good long time. BTW, I am 75.

Yep!
I'm 70, I learn every day and I'm loving it. (Wife calls it "faffing about")
Keep at it and you'll become more familiar with it all.

I am in awe of you folks. I spent 30 years in the oxygen deprived atmosphere of cylindrical shaped mailing tubes. I only needed a strong enough index finger to push buttons and smart enough to pull back to go up and push forward to go down. 98% of the time I didn’t even have to do the last two. No skill required. Just a big watch to look the part.
