Custom Textures

Post by Turtle49 »

Tony posted this in a response to one of my posts, but I thought it would go well in the tip section.
Tony Mac wrote:Hi Tim,
You seem to be finding your way around the new software :)

Searching for textures on the Internet and stumbled across this site,
http://ozviz.wasp.uwa.edu.au/~pbourke/t ... ur/pebble/

Top Tip when using Create Component from selected Bitmap is to
use Copy the created component into the Model and Apply the
Smoothing Filter.

Have Fun!

Another good source of free textures and the excellent wood texture editor that I expect a lot of people here use.

Cool Tim,

Or hot?????

I'm working on a picture of a wave that I'm going to convert into a wall sculpture/painting.

I'll post pics when I'm done in about 3months
