Is there a easy way to post your gcode with a rotation factor?
So I have a long part I want to work on. I know I can do all the work then rotate it then post it but is there an easy way to calculate the gcode with a rotation factor when I post it. My control doesn't allow rotating in the control.

Rotation in the XY plane? Just use the rotation tool, press Recalculate all on the toolpath tab and save the code. There's no way to change the code generated in the Vectric software without rotating the underlying vectors and recalculating the toolpaths.

I know how to do that, I mentioned it in my first post. I was wondering if there was an easier way because that can prove to be a pain in the butt if I have to go back and edit things later on. It's easier to work in horizontal mode. Is there a way to switch the X/Y plane in aspire so you can still work horizontally? Seems like a simple thing to be able to do.

I'm not sure that I understand the question completely but in the job setup screen you can switch orientations and the software will convert everything for you.

If you want to do it in Gcode look up codes G17,G18 and G19 to select the rotation and G68 to enable it. Easier to do it in Vectric

Just copy everything to another hidden layer for when you need to edit it or just undo the rotation directly after recalculating the toolpaths.suade907 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 03, 2021 6:57 pmI know how to do that, I mentioned it in my first post. You can also create a post processor that swaps X and Y.
