Looking for someone to put this into a 3D carving
I hope this isn't to controversial. I've been wanting to make a picture frame (attached image) for a beautiful sign my daughter got for me. Where the rifles overlap, I would want them to not be hidden, like they are in the picture. I've also attached the files for the rifles at the four sides. Would anyone be willing to take this on? Be HAPPY to pay. Thanks!

All the views are the right side of the rifle.
You didn't ask for our opinions, but, being a forum. . . . .
It is pretty weird to have a bayonet fixed on a rifle with a scope. Guys who typically had to fix bayonets did not have scopes on their rifles.
Does it have to be this particular rifle? The reason I ask is that there are models available on line of quite a few rifles.
Edit, now that I look at it real close, it is not a picture of a rifle, it is an image from some modeling software. So somewhere this model already exists. Might pay to do some digging.

Does it need to be this exact rifle, or would one of the Design & Make rifle models work?

If it needs to be that specific gun, Sharkcutup did a great job of modeling an sks.

Do you have the rifle model or just a picture of what you want and need the model?
If you need the model, https://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/m1 ... c4d/774763
If you have the model, what kind of problems are you having putting it together?

Re: Looking for someone to put this into a 3D carving
Thank you all for the replies. Yes, I would like to stay with the M1 Garand as it has special meaning to me. I have relatives that used it in WW2 (Pacific theater - Iwo Jima, Guam, plus other amphibious landings) and Korea. I used it when I was in bootcamp in the mid 70's. I love the rifle.
I have looked at the model on Turbosquid and am thinking about getting it. The challenge my small brain faces is how to get 4 of them in a layout like the one picture I attached so they properly overlap in a 3D look versus one just overlapping another one and hiding it. 3D is something I struggle with which is sad considering I've been using Aspire since 2009. I have attempted and marginally succeeded on some very simple models, but something this complex, I don't even know where to start.

Set the Combine Mode on each Rifle Component to Merge then use Tilt and/or Fade to adjust how the Rifles intersect.

Re: Looking for someone to put this into a 3D carving
Well Don, lemme put it to ya this way:
The model is $70. If you find someone to model it for less than that I will be amazed. You get the model, then us keen folks will talk you through getting it set up. The .obj file is the one you want.
The good thing about what you want to do is that it is in a "standard" view. Perspective views are a PITA to get right. Essentially what you need to do is import the obj file so that it is split right down the centerline of the rifle. Then it is a matter of scaling it and a bit of trimming. Possibly some tilting or fading too to keep the join points looking reasonable.
Honestly, you are the one who should do it, the rest of us would do it the way we would like and that may not be what you want.

Re: Looking for someone to put this into a 3D carving
Should be pretty simple - a matter tilting and fading.
You should be able to slightly tilt each rifle end to end so that the bayonet is higher, and slightly fade each rifle from top to bottom so the bottom of the stock is slightly lower. Set the combine mode to merge, and once you get the tilts and fades right, the bayonet should overlap the stock and be visible.

Thank you everyone! I'll purchase the model and see what I can put together. I appreciate all the feedback and suggestions to make this happen. I'll keep you posted.
