Hi again!
I'm doing a double sided machine job. It's a portal window I have actually made before, but trying to streamline the design process and learn some new things in the process.
What I have is the general layout of the portal. I took the largest and smallest circle for the rails, and use the portal sweep to sweep between the two. It works great, except that it does not sweep the undercut area?
Okay, so I thought I could flip the model, add another two rail sweep and delete that from the top view.
But when I flip it, the component disappears and I can not work on it?
Ultimately, I need to produce the "Profile Sweep" in its entirety. What is the best/easiest way to get it done?
Thanks!

Re: Two rail sweep in two sided job?
Hi,
Just make one model for one side (no modeling undercuts are possible, as you discovered), and create a Profile Toolpath (or Pocket Toolpath) on the flip side for your “undercut” portion.
