Fun with Modeling and sculpting- Lion with Attitude

Post by dealguy11 »

For those of you wondering what you can do with sculpting, here is an example from a recent job using purchased art. The customer really liked the VectorArt 3d lion head, but thought it needed to be less placid. "Make it snarlier" she said. So, this is the result of perhaps an hour of modeling (to add the teeth and bulk up the top lips a little) and sculpting (to smudge the lines, refine the teeth, flare the nose and lower the brow a little) to make him look angrier. This wasn't really that difficult. Thanks, Aspire and VectorArt 3d!

Now she wants me to replace the mane with green-man type leaves. That may take a little longer.
