hdu repair job

Post by rej »

when i designed this with jamies help, i centered the date plate. mistake.
so i had to extend it.
step one, chisel.
two, glue. i love this glue. new to me, i was introduced to it at the camp. it is awesome. no mess like gorilla glue.
step 3, pb 360. great material. fills cracks , holes, etc. dries fast. one part material.

Very nice recovery. Something you don't see documented very much is how to correct mistakes.

Thanks for posting.

Yep, it is quiet common.

I had some at the workshop. It comes in several consistencies from thin to very thick. It's a favorite for wood turning. I get mine at Woodcraft. com.

Here's the skinny. http://www.theglueguy.com/products.htm#glue
