Good afternoon.
I am making a clock to sit in a 400mm long x 40 mm thick a 50mm wide base
The clock is 400mm in diameter.
I wish to have it sit in the base by 12mm,
How do I draw the slot for the clock to sit in to follow the 400mm curve and then machine the curved slot, as per my drawing.
I trust that someone will be able to assist me
Thank You
Barrie

Re: Drawing and machining a curved slot
One potential quickly drafted and toolpathed solution is presented here (recalculate the toolpath as it is not calculated for a smaller file size).

Re: Drawing and machining a curved slot
You could also do this with a moulding toolpath.
