Phil - yes.

I cut and repositioned the cut pieces, then baked.

I also did a bunch of Distort tool.

Leo, you might try using "Extrude and Weave" under the Modeling tab.

I met with the customer to show her what I had.

As a result I decided to try to create my own leaf.
I am gradually getting a little better at creating models from scratch.

I think it came out decent

I'm feeling pretty good about this. I have created the entire thistle model from scratch. Just from looking at a dozen of various thistle pictures. I was afraid to try the leaves. Glad to get pushed into doing it.

That's one thing I like about making stuff for people. Especially when they are paying you. They are not afraid to express their opinion, and I encourage them to challange me. It sure does stretch my envelope.
