Smooth surface for vector -> component creation

Post by dmayne »

I am having a bit of a dilemma. I thought I knew how to smoothly create a component from vectors. I am having problems with the width being slightly off at intersections. This is creating 'bubbles' as it is slightly wider. What is the best way to get a smooth component height/width? Do I just need to manually edit them? I dont care so much about the width. It is the height that is the problem.

Try adjusting these settings to see if it helps:

I did do a limit to height when created. You see the result. Not what I intended.

I would do this as 2-rail sweeps rather than with the create shape tool.
