check your portal account

Post by ohiolyons »

According to the Portal I apparently no longer own any Vectric software.

I've had a legal copy of Aspire from Vectic's Portal since 2010.

I did send info to Vectric Support to investigate. I will update when resolved.

Everything seems to be OK with my Portal Account John, everything that should be in there seems to be there, software downloads & licences showing
Is the software actually showing in the portal or is there just nothing there?

clipart seems to be there

It is showing me with NO purchased software.

I sent screen prints to Vectric, looks like it is just me.

Good to hear it isn't a system wide issue.

So here is the deal.

I had knee surgery 6 weeks ago and have been doing a lot of sitting by Doctors order.

Mind wanders, so I know Vectric updates the portal before you see the new version available warning. So I initiate a download. You can't tell the version until you start a download, if you do that a lot (daily??? I'm really tired of sitting) you get flagged as a potential Evil Doer.

Similar thing happened to me when I did nothing but try to change my email address and password. You get into their scaredy-cat mode and its hard to get out. I'd say they need to check our history before they start locking things down. Irritation and delay is what it costs.

In 2 days I can start to put weight on it so I'll be able to get into other mischief.
