Two sided job selecting

Post by larrybadgett »

If possible, how do you select vectors on both sides of a two sided drawing?

You can't each side is seperate.

There are tools to keep them alined.

Why do you want select both sides simultaneously?

EDIT

If I have copied from one side to another, and for some reason I have to move, this is what I do.
Delete one of them.
Select the other move it to the new location and then do a copy to the other side.

That's kind of what I'm doing John. Was hoping for a better way. Thanks

What I do is make sure the front side and back side vectors are in separate layers. So, the back vectors might be in a layer called "Back Cutout" or whatever, something easy to identify. Then select and move all the back side vectors to the front. Move around the pieces as necessary. Finally, turn off all the layers except for the Back layers, so that only the back side vectors are visible, select everything visible and move it back to the back. No deleting required.

Steve
Thanks for the input. I have arrived at the same method. The file I'm working with is not mine but I think it is going to get modified so that method will work. :D

Great tip, I will try that next time.
