beaver flesher board

Post by blacktrain »

Trying to make a beaver flesher board. The board is 8" wide and 6' long, the first 3' of it has a slight contour from one side to the other. Can I do this in 2D or does it have to be done in 3D. Please be easy on me I am a newbie to the cnc world. I use Aspire. Thank you...

Probably either but a 2D might be easier. You should post a picture or a drawing.

If you give me a few days to get back to my design computer I can send you the file I made for my son-in-law's fleshing boards. He's a taxidermist and had me make a few for him. I designed it in Aspire, and I have no idea how you'd do it in V-carve without the model.
