I need help!!

Post by bbb2541 »

I need help in creating an exact duplicate of the plaster impression below. My skills and knowledge are limited. If anyone is willing to take on this task, message me.

Is this something you have or have access to? You would be better off retaking the photo on a single colour background, possibly a dark background using natural light if possible to avoid reflections & shadows & also square to the item. Looks like you are at a bit of an angle in that picture

This comes from a friend who would like this done in a wood carving. I may ask him to provide a couple of photos as you have suggested.
Thanks for your input.

If you have time I believe we can walk you through the process. For the paw print you are going to create some basic shapes and then apply the paw print texture.

The trout tutorial does a similar thing by creating a basic fish shape and then applying the scales texture.

I'm sensing that there is no way of making an exact duplicate of the jpeg.

Without refinement of the original JPEG probably not.

See attached relief. Unzip. Import as 3D model. Model is 5.75 inches wide and 0.5 inches thick.
