Created a Logo in AI

Post by therealcrash5050 »

Now I don't know the best way to carve it in Aspire.

I am open to suggestions, V-Carved, Pocketed, or a combination of them both. Or should I just scrap the whole thing and start over?

Design is just a matter of opinion so some people will like it & others won't
I personally think the saw blade style logo has been done to death but if people like it then may be worth sticking with especially if you aren't sure what else to do. You could always start out with it & then rebrand at some point later on once you have a better idea of the sort of work you will be doing   I am a hypocrite by the way because although I know how important branding is to a Business I still don't have anything myself

Some things I might think about when designing is how easy is this logo to recreate using different methods, for example if it is pocketed, has 3D elements etc etc then it is going to be time-consuming to add to work that you sell & may also be limited on the size you can create it so the logo needs to work as a simple 2D image single colour so you can laser it quickly or use a branding iron.
For business cards then multiple colours might be used but it needs to work as a single-colour logo as well for things like invoices compliment slips & other general printing which will help keep your printing costs down

I don't really like the way the carve is around the "veteran owned" and my little creek squiggles.

Maybe something like this? Just a suggestion and the "Veteran Owned" text still needs some work.
