Just upgraded to the current version of Aspire and have a question about Tabs.
When I am setting up my profile toolpath, I have selected to Add Tabs and then click on Calculate, but they are NOT showing up when previewing the toolpath like they did before. Are they not getting added or a software glitch or????

Re: Tabs
Once you have ticked the box to add tabs you need to actually go into the form where it says edit tabs & then add them where you want them
The software has always worked that way to my knowledge

Re: Tabs
Another possible issue.
Say your material is .75 thick and your tabs are .1 high, but you overcut to .85.
The tab heights are based on you overcut and can be cutoff.
It make no sense to me the tabs should be placed from the depth of your over cut.
They should be automatically at the bottom of the material (IMNSHO).
This is the answer i got a year or so ago on this forum, I will try to find that posting and get back to you.

Re: Tabs
They are placed at the bottom of the cut which may be the bottom of an overcut. Imagine if you cut 10mm deep in a 20mm thick piece of material and you add tabs (for whatever reason). If tabs were always at the bottom of the material you'd be in trouble.
I guess the software could say bottom of cut or bottom of material whichever is higher.
