Could use some help with this as I've not been able to figure out a fix...
The bell is finished with a .25" ball nose bit. Then in an attempt to sharpen up a few details I'm trying to use a .0625" TBM to make another finish pass (with "Selected Vectors" enabled) to clean up around the top "hanger ring" and bottom "clapper". Screen shots show where the fine bit seems to have run too deep especially to the left on this pass, and I don't know why. Could someone smarter than myself take a look and advise? Thank you.

Re: Clean-Up Finish Pass Cutting too Deeply
It seems to be cleaning up material that the 1/4" ball-end couldn't do itself.
If you are creating a 2nd toolpath to do this you might think about adding the TBN bit to the 1st toolpath instead. That way it can clean up all the material left by the 1/4" bit.

Your vectors are quite jagged and different from each other. Not sure if that is part of the problem but, as posted above, I wouldn't do it as separate toolpaths. Put both tools in the same finish toolpath and let the software work out where the smaller bit is needed.
