Laser module tutorial files

downloaded the trial aspire for laser. downloaded the tutorial files. files are written with prior version. trial won't let me open with trial

I can open the laser tutorials fine with the trial version of Aspire. You can always open earlier files with a later version of the software but not the other way around.

What error message are you seeing and which tutorial is it?

v11 trial with laser. I have Aspire full but only way to test laser module is to dl another v11
It says that the trial tutorial files were made with v10.5 beta

Have you enabled the Laser Trial from the Help menu?

I've downloaded the Aspire 11 trial and I can load the tutorials no problem as I say. It's something up at your end and all I can think is that you haven't enable the laser trial.

Fixed. I opened with full v11 and saved

Were you opening the file by double clicking on it Windows? That will load whichever version is associated with CRV files at the Windows level so it looks like you have an earlier version associated.

As I say I can open all the laser tutorial files with the V11 trial version no problem. The fact that the tutorial files are created with a mixture of beta release doesn't matter as long as the version trying to open them is 11.
