Presently own a 24 X 18 Shopbot using Aspire 10.5
Recently loaded a file completed all the parameters (zero the bit), began the cut at line 152 the spindle came to a complete stop I was unable to raise the head allowing the bit to return to zero. I attempted a second cut and the same occurrence happened the machine stopping at line 171. Anyone care to venture a reason why?

I doubt it's anything to do with the Vectric software but what was on line 152 and line 171? What is the Shopbot Control software saying? Is it displaying any errors? Has it lost communication with the machine? Is the VFD for the spindle displaying any errors?

Shopbot didn’t display an type of error message. It went to line 171 and stopped.
