I've cut this design 7 times in different woods and different sizes. This time I wanted to cut the total carve time as much as possible as this is the largest piece yet. I put an offset border around the project and then use the Create Vector Boundary around selected objects tool so I could pocket cut away the wood outside of the model. Then I used the Finish Toolpath with a 0.25" and then 0.0625" TBN. This is the first time the preview showed "spikes" left over.
Has anyone seen this before? What am I doing / not doing?
File to large to attach so I attached 2 screen shots.
Thanks in advance for any help and suggestions.

Add a Zero Plane and see if the “spikes” go away (basically, the Zero Plane just fills the blank/flat areas).
Or perhaps, you are not selecting the correct vector(s) for your carve boundary? (Make sure you are selecting only the outer perimeter vector of the model for your rough and finish Toolpaths.)
Hard to know without seeing the file.

Are there little vector boundries where the spikes are located ? you may have to zoom in to see them.

since the program is pixel based sometimes you get caught in the right position that these appear. Sometimes a zero plane works and sometimes if you increase your resolution they will go away.
