Problem with the pocketing Toolpath

Post by holzquartier »

I have problems with the pocketing tool. Please see the Screenshots.
When I select all the Vectors and caculate the tool path, the upper corners are also carved.

The both corners on the bottom are not carved. And this is what it shoulded be to the upper Corners.
The Interessting thing is, when i deselect the Circle and calculated the tool path again, Then the right bottom Corner is also carved. And I have the same situation as with the upper corners.
I'm confused

I think this is an bug in Aspire. I sent a screencast to the vectric support.

Nevertheless. Have anybody ever have this problem?

If you don't want the upper corners carved then don't include them in the selection for the toolpath.

If you want the corners carved as well you would be better of creating different vectors or using two toolpaths as overlapping vectors can often cause issues as the software has to guess what you want to do.

Adrian, many thanks for your tip.
I solved the problem. I have simplifyed the vectors by using the trim tool. So I get no overlapped Vectors and now is working fine :-)
This is the result what I need.

It is all about controlling the vectors. You must become one with the vectors.
