interactive 3d view

Post by lestes »

I am having a problem when working with a 3d project. During the initial design the 3d view is interactive as when I make a change in the drawing it shows on the 3d view and makes it easy to see what your changes are doing. It seems now that when I decide to run a sample tool path and preview it that when I go back to make changes that the changes do not show up in the 3d view. I have tried to get the 3d interactive view back but have failed..
Any Help??

Did you Recalculate All Toolpaths after making the changes?

Did you click CLOSE on the Preview panel?

Yes, I did both of those. The only way I can see my changes is to recalculate and run preview again after refreshing the preview each time.

ahaaa,,, I was not closing the preview pane when I went back to the drawing. I was resetting it but not closing it. This may have solved my problem..... This seems like a set that shouldn't have to be taken, but oh well.
Thanks much

...and those who have a need to keep the preview open would get irritatated that it always closes. Pretty much a no win situation.
