I am inlaying acrylic into wood and seek your advice for the best method of bonding the acrylic to the wood.... I am thinking strong thin double sided tape.
Appreciate your recommendations.

Thanks

Working as a signmaker I use a number of double sided tapes & films, as long as everything is cleaned properly then there shouldn't be any trouble bonding the 2 materials. You can also use certain adhesives. I use a range by a Company here in the UK who are very helpful. If I have 2 substrates that need to be bonded & not sure what to use I phone their technical department for help. Probably a Company you could use & do the same
These 2 jobs were done dofferent ways, the house sign was done using an adhesive & the path names were done using double sided tape, both jobs are external & were done some time ago now.

Thank you Martin

As the inlay will be in a tray and not subjected to the elements or rough handling, I shall use the tape method,

Appreciate your advice as always.

Ron
