Next up we have the first of two modeling sessions from our very own Queen on CNC - Beki!

In this session Beki will be giving a beginners guide presentation to modeling in Aspire. To introduce the session she will talk about some core essentials to creating good quality models, from looking at the importance of modeling resolution, what tools are available and the effect your vectors have on the components that you create. She’ll then go through three quick-fire examples that cover lots of modeling tools to help you get started.

Tune in LIVE from 3PM BST here: https://ugm.vectric.com/live

Like Bob Ross - a happy little Leaf here, a pretty little piping there.

Awesome video - so much learning. Love it.

Unable to log in. I want to purchase the bundle, but each time I try it asks me to login to purchase, then sends me an email with an expired link and tells me to log in to get a new link.

We hope you have been enjoying the day so far :)

Next up we're back with Edward! In this presentation Edward builds a mathematically precise puzzle from scratch using Vectric's drawing tools and then shows how sheets can be used to manage the manufacturing layouts and jigs required to cut the part in multiple passes and set-ups on the CNC.

Tune in here in 10 minutes time! https://ugm.vectric.com/live

According to Dan Sawatzky of Imagination Corporation, it takes 10,000 hours to just get familiar, and a dumpster full of scrap. So YES - Queen Beki MUST be full or Queen glitter and darn proud of it. I just love learning what you offer in expertise.

Welcome back to Day 2 of our 2021 User Group Meeting!

I hope you've all managed to get some rest after all of the incredible sessions in Day 1.

We've added a new section to the UGM website called FAQ's. Here we have highlighted some of the main questions that cropped up during yesterdays sessions about the event. Throughout the next two days we will add any popular questions to this section of the site, so remember to check it out: https://ugm.vectric.com/faq

First up today we are welcoming our very own 'Canadian in the UK' Todd to the virtual stage!

Taking complex full 3D models and using them in your projects has been made easier with Aspire V11 and the new segmenting option. During this presentation, Todd will take a fairly complex 3D model and segment it into the pieces he needs in order to create a unique "message in a bottle" themed trinket box. Segmenting is just the start, he will also show you how to edit the segments by using 3D modeling, use relief slicing to fit it all into the material that he has on hand, keep it all organized on different sheets, reveal his technique for creating the slanted hole in a two-sided project and more!

Tune in at 12pm BST here to watch the live stream: https://ugm.vectric.com/live
