drawing annotation

Post by chemstock »

Is there a way to annotate a drawing? I know there are notes which I use a lot but I am interested in putting notes on lines and shapes within a model. As models grow and morph, I would find it helpful to have something remind me what I was thinking.

I just use the text tool. Rotate, size and place where necessary. Don't toolpath those that you don't want in the carving.

+1. Also, I put my notes on a separate layer with a color. This way, I can turn notes on/off as needed. If I have some lengthy comments, I may have several note layers.
